1. How do I get started on planning my menu and event?
Begin by calling Culinary Delights Catering. Before calling you want to think about your estimated budget, type of menu you would like, and what type of beverages.
2. Does Culinary Delight provide disposable dishes or real china?
Culinary Delights provides real china, silverware, and glassware for a one time set-up fee.
3. What is the set-up fee includes and how much does it cost?
The set-up fee is an all inclusive fee that provides everything you will need for your meal service not matter the size of your event. This fee includes 5 staff members, real china, silverware, water and tea glass, linens and skirting for your buffet and beverage stations, chafing dishes, and any thing you need for your meal service. This fee is only $550.00 and saves you a lot of money in staffing fees and the cost of rentals.
4. Does Culinary Delights provide alcoholic beverages?
At this time, Culinary Delights does not sell or serve any alcoholic beverages. However, you are able to hire a TABC-certified bartender through us. Most clients provide their own alcohol for their event. For an additional fee
a bar package can be purchased and includes all setup of bar and all glassware
needed.
5. Can we prepare some of the food ourselves?
Culinary Delights feels that this is your event and you can bring in whatever you would like. If you coordinate with it with your sell person we would be more than happy to place it on trays or in a chafing dish for you.
6. When do I need to give you my final count?
We ask our clients to guarantee a minimum number of guests no later than 72 hours in advance.
7. Are there any hidden fees?
The only fees that you will be charged are a $550 set-up fee, 18% gratuity and 8.25% sales tax. There are additional services that you can purchase like cake service, rental of linen for tables, or extra staff but it is only charged after if is discussed with you and it is your wishes.
8. Do you do wedding cakes?
No, Culinary Delights does not provide wedding cakes. We know how important the wedding cake is to your wedding and we will be happy to recommend a professional.
9. Can I have my food dropped off?
Yes, if you would like your food dropped off it can be coordinated with your sell person.
10. What level of service can you provide and is their and extra fee for staff?
Culinary Delights provides very polished and professional wait staff. We can provide any level of service you would like. There is no additional fee for staff. Culinary Delights provides you with 5 staff for you function. If your function requires more than 5 staff, you can purchase more staff.
11. Do you provide tastings?
Yes, we provide a tasting based off of our menus or a menu you have in mind. We want you to be happy with your meal that you are serving you guest.
12. If we do not see what we want on your menus can we custom built our menu?
Yes, our executive chef can create any dishes you would like. There is not additional fee for creating your own menu.
13. What are the payment terms?
To save the date and ensure that we are available for you date clients are asked to place 50% of the estimated cost of your event, along with a signed contact. Final payment is due three days prior to the event. We accept check, cash, master card or visa.
14. What is the cancellation policy?
If for some instance you need to cancel your event a refund of 50% of the deposit will be given back to you.
